Infidelity can be an incredibly painful and complex issue to work through. When a person discovers that their partner has been unfaithful, it can shake their sense of trust, security, and self-worth. At the same time, the person who has been unfaithful may feel shame, guilt, and confusion about their actions. We work to help both partners understand the underlying causes of the infidelity and to rebuild trust and communication in the relationship. This often involves exploring patterns of behavior and communication that may have contributed to the infidelity, as well as addressing any underlying issues such as depression, anxiety, or unresolved trauma. While healing from infidelity can be a difficult and painful process, it is possible for couples to come out on the other side with a stronger, more resilient relationship. With support and guidance, couples can learn to communicate effectively, deepen their emotional connection, and rebuild trust and intimacy.

Is infidelity 100% the fault or responsibility of the adultery partner? is it a 50%-50% shared responsibility? why did this happen? can I forgive my partner? how to move forward after infidelity? These are some of the questions to work on counselling sessions to help you understand your own emotions, coping mechanisms and couple's dynamics.

A rupture in a romantic relationship such as infidelity can cause significant strain on a relationship and leave partners feeling isolated, betrayed, hurt, and confused. Addressing infidelity in therapy can provide couples with the opportunity to repair the relationship or decide to end the relationship. As a therapist I seek to provide couples with a safe space to explore their emotions and feelings concerning the infidelity, find ways to be present and open to your partner’s experiences and perspectives and help couples better understand their needs and goals for the relationship. Schedule a free consultation with me to see if we are a good fit.
