When working with a client I try to tailor my approach to counselling based on your specific needs, personality, and story. I believe that therapy should be a space where you can say what you don’t feel you can say anywhere else. I operate in an anti-oppressive framework, in recognition of marginalized communities’ and individual’s unique challenges. I feel that laughter can be a strong medicine. My hope is to be a place where you can be yourself and not filter yourself. I hope to cover as many chapters as you would like to share, so we can figure out what the next chapters of your life can be about.

If you feel stuck in your day to day routine, work, or relationships we help you search for a new perspective in life. Anxiety management, anger management, and emotional regulation in adults play an important role in helping them succeed in personal interactions, and professional endeavours. We help you identify the emotional and psychological blockers, traumas, and stressors and provide you with strategies to better cope with them.

My journey into psychotherapy began with a deep passion for helping others achieve wellness, initially through my career as a dietitian. Working closely with clients to improve their physical health, I quickly realized the profound connection between mind and body. Understanding how nutrition impacts mental well-being allowed me to appreciate the holistic nature of health. This insight inspired me to expand my expertise and become a psychotherapist. My background in dietetics enhances my therapeutic practice, enabling me to address both the psychological and physiological aspects of my clients’ challenges. This integrated approach is especially beneficial for healing from trauma and chronic pain, allowing me to provide more comprehensive and effective care, and supporting clients on their path to overall wellness.
Life can be tough but so are you. I am here to help you recognize your resilience and create meaningful change for your mental health and to support you through life’s challenges. My approach to therapy is person-centred and collaborative, integrating different techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, as well as Acceptance and Commitment therapy.
