You did exactly what you needed to do. Sexual trauma can make us feel like we're broken - like there's something wrong with us or like we're permanently damaged. These thoughts are symptoms, not facts. We can help you see things differently - this part of your story does not define you. Imagine a life in which you don't have to keep trying to please others, to struggle silently while trying to keep it all together on the outside, to feel like you can't trust or that you're out of control and to put others' needs consistently above your own.
