Many people think that psychosis can only be treated by psychiatric medication. But many of the most distressing aspects of psychosis can be managed by psychological intervention. I believe that the most effective treatment program for these distressing conditions includes both psychiatric and psychological interventions.
Two of our Clinical Psychologists are particularly experienced in helping people effectively live with first episode and later episode psychosis. We draw from evidence based therapies including; CBT, ACT, CFT, SFT, EMDR, DBT, systemic, narrative, psychodynamic and others.

I studied a Master's degree at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (King's College) to support my interest in psychosis. I have worked in inpatient and outpatient settings with people who have a range of psychotic diagnoses. I also work with those who live with or are close to people with a diagnosis of psychosis and the associated symptoms.
