I work with children and adolescents to learn the necessary skills for emotional regulation and distress tolerance to overcome many behavioral issues and developmental challenges. For younger children, I use a variety of developmentally appropropriate play therapy interventions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in treating children and adolescents with a wide variety of issues. These include depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, anger, inattention, impulsivity, isolation, poor social skills, etc. In addition,
I focus on improving the parent-child relationship at any stage in the child's life (infancy through young adulthood).
Anxiety, depression, school and family transitions, and bullying are just a few problems children and adolescents face today that cause considerable distress. In turn, these problems inevitably impact the family and can be dealt with effectively in therapy.
