How we handle stress is directly related to how well we function overall. When we're stressed, chemicals are released into our body that increase our heart rate, blood pressure and blood sugar levels. This is good in a stressful situation, but not so good when we're ALWAYS stressed. Being stressed without an equal, if not more, amount of time when we're relaxed can lead to mental and physical problems. The prevention? An ability to say "no" to the people, places and things that don't serve us and rob us of our most precious commodity: time.
Stress is a healthy experience, until it's not. Oftentimes life gets so fast-paced and overwhelming that we don't know how to hit pause. We can help you get a better grasp on how to find balance and zen.
