Postpartum depression influences a majority of women after they give birth. In general, being a mother is hard work, coupled with the fact that your hormones are trying to level out, all on a severe lack of sleep. It is no wonder that postpartum depression is so common. Postpartum depression can bring on an overwhelming sense of guilt for most women, due to having a brought a beautiful baby into the world and not always feeling a sense of happiness about it.
