We are all experience loss in our life, maybe a death of someone close to us or major life changes and transitions that cause pain and disappointment. I want to help you resolve and adjust to where you are in life and look forward to what's ahead. Grief must be processed and not ignored or it leads to other problems.
Which stage of grief are you experiencing? Denial? Anger? Depression? Isolation? Or are you on a roller coaster ride going back and forth between them?
Grief can wreak havoc on your emotional well-being and cause overwhelming emotions too difficult to handle.
I can teach you coping skills and help you learn how to not only accept but thrive in your new way of life.
“We know when we lose something important that we're attached to that our brain codes that loss like physical
pain.” I understand that we can't fix the loss and we can't end the grief, but I want to help you learn to live a whole and fulfilling life with grief now a part of your experience.
Loss and Grief can include many things besides the death of a loved one. It can be the loss of youth, becoming an empty nester, divorce, relationship ends, moving, a new job, a new role in life and many others. Change is difficult and uncertain, loss brings intense feelings that feel unmanageable. I have found that using Expressive Arts Therapy and talk therapy as helpful in processing those hard emotions. No one is forced to use expressive arts, it is offered. Grief takes time. We need a space to feel and express it. I can provide that safe, nonjudgmental space for you as your move through your grief and loss.
