I have the privilege of seeing tremendous results using my training, experience, and resources with those I have the honor of working with who have challenges related to their spirituality.
I am a practitioner of Mindfulness meditation and incorporate mindfulness and other spiritual traditions into my practice. While I am a Christian, I don't impose my personal beliefs on my clients.
Direct experiences of the Divine can be beautiful, but can also be intense and frightening: a journey that is sometimes called "spiritual emergence" or "spiritual emergency." I have a background in mysticism that (unlike many counselors) allows me to hear and accept client's mystical experiences without judgement or assuming they are delusional. I help clients integrate their unique experiences - light or dark - and separate what is life-enhancing and what seems overwhelming.
