Everyone has stress. And really, there’s nothing wrong with stress. It’s part of life. But sometimes we let it build to the point that it’s unmanageable or we are dealing with a situation that is more stressful than we are used to. Together we will work to identify the cause or causes of your stress and develop ways to relieve that stress or manage it better so you can get on with life.
Stress can make us feel like we are endlessly running on a hamster wheel. Stress also affect us physically, because the hormones we produce while under stress are detrimental to our overall health.
I specialize in helping clients learn how maladaptive thinking patterns, emotion dysregulation, and behavioral responses negatively impact stress and anxiety. With a little mindful awareness stress can be greatly reduced.
