I work on the a woman's relationship with herself, using positive psychology, and self care, to restore trust in her own abilities and joy in her life. Working with CBT, and promoting good mental hygiene and optimum health we learn how to promote strong inner self-esteem and positive relationships. We discover ways to ehance the relationship between our inner and outer world while ensuring the client can enhance her own wellness and positive self image in her daily experience.
As women, we experience things differently to men and have completely different experiences to men. There are a number of issues that we can suffer from that don't get the attention from others, professionals, and even ourselves that they deserve. I work collaboratively with women to unpack and shift the many emotions and thoughts that they experience with particular issues in their lives, especially those that only women can truly understand.
Helping women live with chronic conditions, manage their life around ongoing pain, approach challenging situations while caring for their and their family's happiness.
Supporting connection to our feminine natures which can often be lost in a patriarchal culture that worships more masculine ways of being. Holding throughout a women undertaking her unique Heroine's Journey and for for the challenges women face; in the workplace, navigating unique rites of passage such as transition to motherhood/menopause and decisions around having children and being childless.
