Cascade Behavioral Health provides evidence-based treatments for anxiety-related issues, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Our team of experienced clinicians uses a variety of approaches to help individuals identify, understand, and reduce unhelpful thought patterns, behaviors, and emotions. We also offer anxiety-reducing activities such as mindfulness, relaxation, and body-based therapies to assist in developing healthy coping skills. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment to help individuals gain greater insight into their anxiety and develop effective strategies to manage it.
All problems with Anxiety & Fear (which may include phobias & Obsessive Compulsive disorder) are linked to an inappropriate activation of the centers in the brain that are responsible for detecting danger. You will learn skills to think through and manage these reactions, and you will be guided through processes that will repattern the way your brain reacts to these situations.

I can help you uncover root causes, and reduce your anxiety and fears.
Anxiety disorders are a broad category and I work to identify the specifics with you. I rely on evidence based interventions for everything from Generalized Anxiety and Panic Disorder to Specific Phobias and OCD
I believe that primary fear is about an active threat such as a tiger in the village that needs to be addressed outside of therapy. Anxiety or fears that are appopriately addressed in therapy require a wide variety of interventions so I support clients in a variety of ways to be empowered in their lives that balance courage and safety.
Anxiety can be paralyzing. Phobias can limit healthy functioning. Both of these can be addressed with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (my specialty), and with creating and developing the tools to change the way the brain processes emotional landmines. I work with a number of approaches to move through the place of fear into a healthy life.
I utilize a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy to confront anxiety head on, and identify the behaviors that directly contribute to the feelings of anxiety.
I help empower clients to overcome the challenges that hold them back from living a life of peace and fulfillment.
Using the transformative power of hypnotherapy, I provide a safe and supportive environment where clients can confront and conquer their anxieties and fears. Together, we explore the root causes of these emotional barriers, develop effective coping mechanisms, and reframe negative thought patterns. Witnessing my clients regain their confidence, find inner calm, and embrace a life free from anxiety or fear is truly rewarding.
