Depression is one of the most common issues that Australians deal with. Unfortunately, 1 in 7 Australians will experience depression at some point in their lifetime. Fortunately, there are many things that may improve depression. You can choose one that fits your lifestyle & exact needs.
Depression is one of the leading symptoms of our era. With my compassionate and individually tailored approach, I will help you journey into your present (and potentially past) to identify the origin and cause of your troubles. From there, we will work together to uncover the yearning coupled with your pain. I will sit beside you in warmth and strength to support you in moving towards your healing.

Depression is often the symptom, not the core problem. That means one of our skilled therapists will help you to delve into the factors that have contributed to yo urdepression and work on these underlying issues. Then you find that the treatment works quicker and there is less chance of relapse. We know that cognitive and behavioural interventions (CBT) are often very effective but we also have therapists skilled in acceptance and commitent therapy (ACT), family systems and schema therapy.
My work focuses upon an holistic view of the individual and their history. This means our focus is less upon individual 'symptoms' and alleviation of these, and more upon what the 'symptom' might be communicating about imbalance in the individual. This leads on to an examination as to what needs to change at the level of body, mind, emotion and spirit.
