In treating eating disorders, I adopt an integrative approach that combines cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with psychodynamic therapy to address the multifaceted nature of these conditions. CBT serves as a cornerstone, focusing on the identification and modification of maladaptive thoughts and behaviors related to food, body image, and weight. Through structured sessions and homework assignments, I work collaboratively with clients to challenge distorted beliefs and develop healthier coping mechanisms. Concurrently, I integrate psychodynamic therapy to explore the underlying emotional and relational factors contributing to the eating disorder.
