Licensed Professional Counselor, LMHC
 therapist: Jeanne Kimble,

I am a psychotherapist dedicated to helping my clients take out the head trash and clean up nervous system static so they can live and love more freely. In therapy, this typically involves treatment to heal from the past while replacing or wiring in what you didn't get back then (e.g., TLC) and identifying any other hidden stressors in your inner or outer environment that might be impacting you now. All important work to do as we clear the path for your brilliant future. The therapy experience can get deep and may get hard but there's no worksheets and it's oft' times fun. I invite you to join me. You will be treasured.

Jeanne Kimble Practice Description
I work with adults in an engaged, relational talk therapy. If it's right for the client, we'll move into attachment focused EMDR treatment early in the therapy process. I love the way the structure of EMDR works to prepare us for the journey, then puts us on a path that allows us to walk directly up to and around the core issue. It never ceases to impress as I observe what a client's mind can do toward its own healing. It's extraordinary. At other junctures in the therapy I may apply tools and constructs from ACT or NARM, drop neuroscience tidbits, or use Judson Brewer's processes for habit change. My work with clients is most informed by attachment theory, polyvagal theory, affective and other important neuroscientific facts and constructs, Buddhist psychology and mindfulness. Each of these connect and weave together in, to my mind, the most relevant understanding of how we acquire psychic wounds and trauma, how we get tangled up in it all and how best we can get unstuck.
