Tough Stuff Counselling, owned and operated by Krista Hull is a non-judgmental, feminist, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, 2SLGBTQ-affirmative, and sex-positive online psychotherapy office based in Hamilton Ontario. I take an eclectic approach to therapy which is narrative-based, client-centered, using empathy, self-compassion, and humour. Collaboration is highly valued, with an emphasis on developing a strong therapeutic relationship where we work together to create a plan incorporating your specific goals, cultural traditions, experiences and strengths.
Creativity is also woven into the practice of psychotherapy and is informed by past training in the arts, and a strong research background. I specialize in working with adults and teens with various concerns, including anxiety, depression, inter-generational trauma, romantic and peer relationships, life transitions, and gender/sexual identity concerns.
