The winter blues are a real thing. Just like Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), the winter blues are a type of depression that is triggered by the change in seasons. The winter blues can make you feel sad, anxious, or even just down in the dumps. But don’t worry, there are ways to overcome the winter blues. Here are some tips:

1. Get outside: Just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean you have to hole up indoors. bundled up and get outside for some fresh air. Take a walk, go for a run, or just sit outside and soak up some Vitamin D.

2. Stay active: It’s easy to become a couch potato in the winter, but inactivity will only make you feel worse. So get up and move! Whether it’s going to the gym, taking a dance class, or playing with your kids, staying active will help boost your mood and keep the winter blues at bay.
