Treatment Approach
- Christian

- EMDR
- Internal Family Systems
- Narrative
Approach Description: My approach to treatment is “trauma informed.” This approach to therapy is hope-filled and effective in addressing a full range of “diagnoses” (including anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles like "codependency"). A “trauma-informed” approach to mental health issues views DSM "labels" as “brain system adaptations” rather than “disorders.” We will work together from a position of health to shift “brain system survival strategies” that are not serving you, helping the “brain system” to discover more “adaptive” ways of coping with past and present trauma.
