Seeking out professional support can feel hard, awkward, and even subtly intimidating. As a therapist, I dedicate my job to make sure all of my clients feel safe in the space that is created between us, allowing them to name and explore the various emotional pains that may have left them feeling stuck, derailed, angry, or even hopefuless. My therapy style is a mixture of soft tenderness that helps my clients feel seen and cared for, intentional questions of curiousity that helps my clients to expand their thinking and meaning making, while also, when appropriate, to subtly challenge any false beliefs or perceptions that may be playing into the role that may be keeping them adrift.
