Jen Welo (She/Her)
Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Intern Pursuing MA in Marriage and Family Therapy
Jen brings a warm and direct approach to help you explore your patterns and build deeper connections with self and others. She began her career in the public education system, where she worked as an art educator for 10 years. During this time, she developed a deep love and respect for children and their families. Jen believes healing isn't linear and happens at our own pace, with ups and downs along the way. She emphasizes the importance of self-compassion, humor, and slowing down in the journey for change.
Jen sees all ages, including families and couples, who want to enhance their relationships and communication. She enjoys supporting folks with anxiety, depression, sexual concerns, spirituality, and life changes. Jen loves collaborating with people from all cultural backgrounds and is curious to understand and empower your unique experience.
She welcomes non-traditional relationship structures and works from a systemic lens, using family systems, attachment theory, and more in session. She is pursuing her MA in Marriage and Family therapy and practicing under the supervision of Samantha Colai. Outside work, she loves eating good food, stretching, and painting old furniture.
