I have 20 years background in education, working with primary school aged children through to adults in supporting their wellbeing. I bring this experience into my therapeutic practice, where I enjoy being with people and getting to know them as they explore what is important to them in living a meaningful life. I see myself as a fellow traveller who can help you make sense of what is happening and make decisions that are in line with living your best life.

Approach Description: I utilise a range of approaches that range from play and movement based approaches through to experiential and talk based therapies. I choose the specific therapeutic modality for working with each person based on their needs, personality and interests. All approaches begin from a person-centred focus that ensures the person I am working with is always at the centre, our work is about them. I also take the opportunity to integrate various approaches where relevant and when this best suits the needs of the person I am working with. There is no cookie cutter approach where one way suits one thing all of the time. Therapy is fluid process and unique for each individual.

My core areas of focus are working with young people, grief and loss, people living with chronic health conditions, navigating significant life transitions as well as more general life coping skills. I utilise a range of therapeutic approaches, taking time to get to know people and how they would like to work in sessions in order to be client-centred and best meet the needs of all I work with. I believe strongly that as we share our story with someone who we can trust, we get to know ourselves in a new way and begin to see things from a different perspective. We Be who we want to be, we Change what we want to change, and we Grow into a new person as a result and the process starts again! This is why I chose Be.Change.Grow as the name of my business.
