I have a Ph.D. in General Psychology at Walden University. I completed my Master of Counselling Psychology degree through Athabasca University and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
I am now published in the Canadian Journal of Counselling and Psychotherapy for my literature review on the topic of voluntarily childless couples.
I have significant experience working with the LGBTQ community as well as issues relating to Sexuality and Alternative sexual lifestyles. Further, due to my long-time work as a family law clerk, I have significant family law experience.
Additionally, I have experience working with relationship issues, issues of sports injury, anxiety, Grief, Depression, Seasonal Affective Disorder, and other heath and well-being concerns. I have experience working with individuals, families, and relationships as well children.
My theoretical roots are Jungian and I employ depth approaches to my client work. I am also familiar with Solution Focused and Positive Psychology. I am committed to anti-oppressive practice, freedom from judgment or marginalization and, empowerment.
