There is no reason to suffer alone. I am passionate about my work as a Counsellor. Alisa Kline Counselling Services is here to help you.
I hold a Masters degree in Counselling from City University and I am licensed with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association #5471 in good standing as a Canadian Certified Counsellor.
I work with clients from adolescents to elder adults struggling with a range of personal and interpersonal issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual orientation, addiction, grief and loss, abuse, work-related issues, relationship issues, affairs, family conflicts, parenting issues, separation, divorce and life/mid-life transitions.
I am a client-centered and solution focused psychotherapist. I combine techniques from approaches such as cognitive behaviour, family systems, interpersonal and gestalt specific to your circumstances and needs.
I view my clients as the experts of their own lives. I believe that your personal story shapes you and influences your choices into your adult life. I view my role as a guide and I can help you look at your situations from a different lens. Together we can navigate your struggles, understanding that adversity can ultimately lead to personal growth and fulfillment allowing you to lead the purposeful and meaningful life you seek.
It is most important to me that you feel safe and supported. My clients compliment my ability to be empathetic and non-judgmental in their most vulnerable moments.
I offer confidential In-person counselling services as well as Cybercounselling services via E-therapy with Hushmail, Video/Audio with Vsee, Skype, Face time, or Telephone.
Some benefits to Cybercounselling services include being able to access professional support without travel time and being able to engage in therapeutic conversations with anonymity giving comfort to those whom have difficulty sharing personal information in face to face settings.
