The world is a scary place. In the last few years, everything has started to feel unsteady. You worry about the future, but also about the present. You worry about the path you're taking and if things will work out for you and your family. You worry about the things you eat, the things you say, and the things you see happening around you. You worry about worrying. I can help you with that.

Approach Description: In our sessions, I see you as the driver, and me as the GPS. I pay close attention to your thoughts, behaviours, and interactions, then point out patterns you may not have noticed yourself. I tend to combine talk therapy with coping strategies for you to practice in between sessions. The primary therapies I integrate are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), DBT, and Parts Work, all through a trauma-informed lens.

I have been providing psychotherapy to a wide range of clients in private practice and in a women's shelter with pregnant and postpartum women. Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), DBT, and Person-Centred Therapy, I have helped my clients navigate life transitions and build resiliency for years to come.
Traumatic experiences, situational and biological factors can make daily living challenging. Having experienced my own set of challenges, I understand how difficult life can be. Together we can work on creating healthier perspectives, effective coping skills, and more beautiful moments. Times are tough but you can be too.
