Selecting the right counselor for you can be a difficult decision, but the right fit can be profoundly life changing. I work with a broad spectrum of clients with various life histories and difficulties, including survivors of trauma and violence, those struggling with depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem, and individuals struggling in their interpersonal relationships. My approach is interactive and collaborative; my goal is to help my clients clarify their own therapeutic and life goals, and we quickly get to work pursuing them. While all of the work I do is evidence-based, I view each individual as unique and refrain from one standard form of treatment. After years of working with adults and children, I have the utmost respect for the resiliency of the human spirit. I am committed to providing a non-judgmental space where, working at a pace that is comfortable and safe, we will alleviate past pain and hurts, and focus on improving your current quality of life.
