Approach Description: I draw on several therapy modalities to provide the best fit for my clients with an emphasis on Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). Psychological flexibility is at the core of ACT and an important part of mental wellness. I help adults like you learn new ways to improve their mental and emotional wellbeing and get unstuck so they can live full, purposeful, and meaningful lives. You will learn how to be with your emotions without being defined by them and to be able to free yourself to show up for your life. I work especially well with deep thinkers, creative types (Artists and Musicians), as well as Athletes and young Academics. I work individually with adults from a strength-based perspective. My goal in therapy is to actively listen to your goals and collaborate with you on a treatment plan that aligns with your individual needs. My style is person-centered and relatable. I will go where you lead and will look for the moments where I can gently challenge you or help you go a little deeper, using both Person-centered and insight-oriented approaches and integrate experience-based and cognitive models like ACT and CBT. It’s important for me that you feel safe, connected and heard.
