Approach Description: The most important indicator of successful therapy is the genuineness of the relationship between therapist and client. I approach my clients with deep respect, compassion, genuine attachment, and confidentiality. I combine traditional talk therapy (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) with somatic psychology, mindfulness, Hakomi, neuroscience, attachment theory, Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy, Relational Somatic Psychotherapy, trauma therapy along with genuine care, compassion, and a good sense of humor. I have found this particular mix of approaches and qualities creates a powerful approach, that is effective, powerful, and fun!

We all want to feel better from time to time. We get stuck, sad, scared, alone. And right now during these uncertain times, many of us are struggling. Well, there is good news! The field of psychology, through research in neuroscience, has uncovered new powerful and effective ways that really work to build our resilience, improve our lives and relationships, and help us feel more connected and alive. I want to help you experience all of that. You just need to reach out, which is hard. I promise you though, if you take that step, you will feel better.
I have extensive training and experience in Somatic Psychology, a form of therapy that does much more than traditional talk therapy. We tap into the body's wisdom and potential for healing, in safe, fun, playful, and powerful ways.
Reaching out for help is a powerful and scary thing. A good therapist will help you feel safe, cared for, and hopeful very quickly. I encourage you to take the next step. Maybe select your top three therapists, make initial contact, get them on the phone or on video, and see who you feel comfortable with. Then go from there. Good luck with your adventure!
