My training is in Depth Psychology, which means that I am interested in the whole person, including thoughts, feelings, somatic symptoms as well as the developing sense of Self. I also believe that we are all mirrors for each other and so we are always in relationship in one way or another, with ourselves, nature, and life that is going on all around us. I believe that our wounding occurs in relationships and so does our healing. We all need a witness to our pain and I believe that the therapeutic relationship must be one of trust and connection, so I work hard to build a relationship that helps to ease the work of the individuals or couples that I see.

I offer a 30 minute free consultation for individuals or couples ranging in age from 16 to adult and elderly. I have a 5 yr. old Labradoodle who accompanies me to my office and offers tremendous love and attention to those who enjoy dogs. I like to say that I am his assistant. Before I was a psychologist, I worked as a Speech/Language Pathologist. My area of interest was the brain and communication, so my specialty became the Mild Traumatic Brain Injury population.
Now I incorporate my knowledge of the cognitive aspects of being human along with my training in Depth Psychology, which allows for understanding of who we are beneath the superficial circumstances. As a Certified Imago Therapist, I integrate beliefs about how we long to be loved as well as loving in our relationships and offer expertise in bringing peace and joy to those struggling in relationship.
