Approach Description: My approach is rooted in evidence-based therapies tailored to each individual's unique needs. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help patients identify and reframe negative thought patterns, while Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBCT) fosters self-awareness and stress reduction. I emphasize Culturally Sensitive care to honor each patient’s background and values and integrate Emotionally Focused and Trauma-Focused therapies to build resilience and address past wounds.
For children and families, I incorporate Play Therapy, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Behavior Modification to strengthen relationships and encourage positive behavioral changes. My Humanistic and Person-Focused approach ensures that every patient feels supported, empowered, and at the center of their care. Motivational Interviewing is also used to inspire meaningful and lasting change. This comprehensive approach helps patients achieve balance, healing, and improved well-being.
