Approach Description: My therapeutic approach is eclectic, tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities to provide comprehensive and personalized care. Here are the core components of my approach: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. By working together, we will challenge and reframe these thoughts, developing healthier ways of thinking and coping. This approach is effective for managing stress, anxiety, and depression. Existential/Humanistic Therapy: This modality emphasizes personal growth, self-awareness, and finding meaning in life. We will explore your values, beliefs, and experiences, helping you understand yourself on a deeper level and fostering a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Psychodynamic Therapy: Psychodynamic therapy delves into the unconscious mind and past experiences to uncover unresolved conflicts and emotional patterns. By understanding the root causes of your current issues, we can work towards lasting change and emotional healing. Hypnotherapy: Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of awareness, often referred to as a trance. In this state, you can access your subconscious mind to address deep-seated issues, reduce stress, and promote behavior change. I am clinically certified in hypnosis. Interpersonal Therapy (IPT): IPT focuses on improving interpersonal relationships and communication skills. We will address relationship issues, build healthier connections, and develop strategies to manage social and relational challenges effectively. Internal Family Systems (IFS): IFS views the mind as a system of parts, each with its own perspective and emotions. By understanding and harmonizing these internal parts, we can heal trauma, resolve inner conflicts, and achieve greater self-understanding and self-compassion. Therapeutic Coaching: Combining the principles of therapy and coaching, therapeutic coaching helps you address psychological issues while setting and achieving practical goals. This approach is action-oriented, focusing on personal growth, goal-setting, and overcoming obstacles. Hypnosis: Hypnosis is a therapeutic technique that leverages the natural state of focused relaxation to promote mental and emotional healing. During hypnosis, individuals enter a deeply relaxed yet attentive state, which can make them more receptive to positive suggestions and insights, as well as more capable of addressing underlying issues without interference from conscious fears or barriers.
