I have been working with eating disorders clients, and their families, for over 25 years. I worked in both Inpatient units, partial hospitals and in private practice. Treating a client with their partner, and or their family is my strength. Understanding eating disorders irrational rules is a challenge.

I use my own style as I developed a "Dr. Rita "approach to treating this population. I learned to speak their "language" . Clients with eating disorders are hardly understood. One must know how to listen, and not judge. Telling someone" just eat!" will not help one get their trust.
