My training includes inpatient and intensive outpatient settings. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques in order to better understand harmful behaviors and learn to change them. I have trained with 12 step and harm reduction modalities. Each client identifies their path to breaking the addiction. We can build on abstinence, or find ways to reduce the harm of substance abuse by reducing substance use and resulting damaging behavior.
