Greetings! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. More specifically, I am someone who is dedicated to the elevation of the client. After working in healthcare for many years, I transitioned to the profession of Social Work in 2015. I have a Masters degree of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University. I see the importance of therapy and mental health services in all communities. I have the privilege to work with array of clients experiencing grief, trauma, and battling stabilization in behavioral health. As a clinician, in the session, I focus on assisting the clients’ with establishing goals and providing effective interventions to employ results.
As a Social Worker, I am adept in client and family assessment, investigation, surveying for safety, the procedure development, and planning courses of action. I excel at:

Knowledge of the impact of the disease process and of human behavior to provide psychosocial assessments; short-term therapeutic counseling and criteria related to all diagnosis from DSM-V; and crisis intervention to patients; families; and staff.
The ability to communicate and resolve conflict effectively in behalf of the client to him/her with authorized consent to assist in their behalf I able to report findings to manage care team, physicians, other health care team, community agencies, to the client’s families with diverse opinions, values, and religious/cultural ideas.
I enjoy being able to provide psychoeducation because I truly appreciate empowering and helping others learn effective methods to cope. With over 8 years of experience in Mental Health, if you are ready to begin therapy and start the healing process, I know I am fully capable to assist.
I aim to work with individuals and families to promote resiliency from presenting tribulations or unexcepted experiences. I enjoy assisting clients to explore their emotions and uncover patterns that may lead to emotional distress. I have the opportunity in my career to work with adolescents to geriatric age groups who are battling with trauma or complications with adjustment. With pronounced experience in psychiatric hospital settings, I have worked closely with physician and medical teams, regarding the DSM-V and complexities of mental health symptomatology, to effective diagnosis and assist in individual’s care needs. I look forward to educating all whom I can through counseling and delivering psychoeducation in therapy services.
