I decided on this profession as having had therapy myself I know that it can make such a difference and I'm passionate about helping others fulfill their potential and not be held back in life by issues that can be dealt with. It can help to have someone impartial to talk to who can help you through difficult times and give you some space to deal with whatever is causing your distress. This is where I can help. I believe people seek therapy because they want to make a change in their lives. This can be scary, but I hope to be able to offer a supportive, calm, safe environment for you to explore your issues and work towards the best solution for you.
I have worked with people on a wide variety of issues including OCD, phobias, tokophobia (fear of pregnancy and childbirth) general anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, relationships and weight issues. I am an Accredited Member of COSCA, the professional body for counsellors in Scotland and am fully insured by the Psychologists Protection Society.

I believe it's important to choose a therapist with appropriate training and experience. I have a COSCA accredited Diploma in Counselling and Groupwork - A CBT Approach and I am an Accredited Member of COSCA, the professional body for counsellors in Scotland as well as a Supervisor for trainee and fully qualified therapists. Although my training is in CBT I use an integrative approach as we are all different and respond to different ways of working. I have worked with people on a wide variety of issues including OCD, tokophobia (fear of pregnancy and childbirth), general anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, relationships and weight issues. All my sessions are remote so that location is not a barrier for you.
