I have worked with young adults and families for the past 30 yrs. within the school system, as both a teacher and learner, as well as counseling for individuals of all ages. These days, we are often overworked, have high expectations of ourselves, and can become exhausted with our own efforts. I have learned through these years that when we slow down and have someone to check in with, we can find our way back to what we believe is our path, our purpose, and/or be more present in the living of our life. Checking in with our habits, behaviors and our emotions and intuition can tell us if and when we are thriving in life.
