Matt Korbon (He/Him)

Matt weaves together various treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT,) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help meet clients with an approach tailored to their individual experiences. Matt has a background working with mood disorders, anxiety, and trauma work within an adult partial-hospitalization program, ensuring evidence-based treatment for patients stepping down from an inpatient stay or those in need of more intense treatment. He also has experience in both individual and group therapy settings and deeply appreciates the unique benefits both can offer. Matt believes in fostering a strong therapeutic alliance for his clients to feel seen and heard. Enrolling in counseling can be an intimidating process and Matt is dedicated to supporting clients and helping them develop and work towards their unique goals. Matt received his BS in Cognitive Science from the University of Virginia and his MA in Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. He has also completed a multitude of continuing education courses to support his skills in CBT, DBT, and ACT.
