I am a professional psychologist with 13 years of clinical experience. My specialities include working with trauma (particularly family of origin trauma), gender, sexuality, relationships, and self-esteem. My background has helped develop my approach to therapy to encompass both the mind and body. I have developed a blended styling using psychodynamic/relational theory with buddhist, self-compassion, mindfulness, and meditation principles. I model compassion so that you can not only learn about how valuable this skill is, but also can experience what it is like to relate with yourself in a more nurturing way. We work collaboratively to address your presenting concerns through building self-awareness, corrective experience, body awareness, emotional release, and skill building. My intention is to set you up for long-term well-being through addressing the roots of your concerns.
