I'm not your ordinary therapist. I have 24 + years of experience as a therapist, plus I have the life experience of a wife of 43 years, mother of two, and grandmother of four. I am the therapist that people come in and say, "Wow, you helped me more in one session than I got out of years with several other therapists." I am fun, direct, empathetic, but direct so that you can have the results you are looking for in a short amount of time. I love what I do, so it's not work to me. I'm very interactive in sessions so there won't be many times where I just sit there and don't provide feedback. I'm the type of therapist that will call you out on your stuff so I can help you meet your goals and have better relationships with others. I love talking with potential clients to see if I'm a good fit. After a phone call with me you will be able to get a sense if I'm a good fit for you. Please give me a call and let's chat!

My practice is very laid back but highly interactive, if that makes sense. My goal is to help you figure out what is not working for you and how to help you get to a better place. I focus on finding solutions and teaching you skills to solve your problems in the future. I may have long-term clients, but I also have short-term clients. I want to teach you the skills to stay on track with who you want to be and what you want in life.
I have a spiritual background that I bring into sessions when my clients invite it in. It can be a powerful tool when requested. I highly respect other's preferences and beliefs so I can meet them there where their beliefs lay. Many times I don't even bring it up. I leave it up to my clients to invite it in.
In my practice I offer both individual therapy and couples' therapy, and I mainly work with adults, but I will work with older adolescents on a case by case basis. Many of my clients are professionals, high level executives, and stay at home moms. I love working with this level of intellect because it challenges me and keeps me sharp.
I'm a life long learner and research geek. I love to explore new approaches to mental health, more so the mind/body connection and how to use food and lifestyle as mental health medicine to supplement therapy. There are always so many new fascinating discoveries and I love to share them with my clients.
If what I have shared about my practice sounds like a good match for you, please reach out today.
