While trained as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Counselor, I really consider myself an EMDR therapist I utilize all the protocols. My goal is to make clients comfortable and the discussions in therapy easy. I tend to be straightforward and trust people want to heal. I provide a safe, nurturing environment . I request the 1.5 hour session as I feel it is not only appropriate, but more productive. I balance healing the past or traumas with the present needs of each client. I work hard to walk the talk. If I don't have the courage to do take certain actions or display certain behaviors, why would I ask a client to do so! Authenticity is my truth!
