What we tell ourselves is powerful. Our thoughts have an amazing influence over how we view ourselves and relate to the world around us. I often tell my clients that being aware of the connection between what we think, what we feel, and how we act is the " secret to life." This is often the first step in helping us make the changes that we want and/or need to make. Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I am excited to offer groups, individual, and family sessions rooted in this model of therapy.

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy has been found an effective treatment for people impacted by anxiety, depression, self-harm, and PTSD among many others. Working with children and families is my specialty; which I have had the honor and pleasure of doing so for nearly 20 years. I am certified in Trauma -Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is an evidenced based model that has been highly effective with children/teens who have been impacted by trauma. More recently, I have expanded my practice to include working with women on; empowerment, self- advocacy, body image/body neutrality, and true self- care.
