My private practice is located in Evanston, IL and is currently hybrid, offering both in-person and telehealth. In my years of experience as an individual and couples therapist I have learned that successful therapy depends heavily on the relationship between therapist and client and the client's experience of feeling cared for. While I tend to practice individual therapy from a relational psychodynamic lens, exploring patterns in relationships and helping individuals to establish healthier attachments and boundaries, I am also certified in cognitive behavioral therapy, and have experience in DBT and somatic treatment approaches as well. My clients would describe me as caring, creative, flexible, and responsive, able to listen and deepen understand when needed but also able to intervene and help individuals and couples develop the practical tools that they need to improve their lives.
