Life can be hard and finding a therapist who understands you can be challenging. You might feel as though no one gets it, resulting in a feeling of overwhelm, stress or numbness as the days pass. Eventually the experience may feel like a never-ending rollercoaster with more downs than ups. However, seeking therapy takes strength and courage, and each part of you is welcomed (even your most hurtful parts or the parts you might avoid). Sometimes help is needed to cope with life obstacles, manage interpersonal relationships, regulate your emotions, and heal from your traumatic experiences.
Although change can feel overwhelming, sometimes a little help is needed to overcome life hurdles, manage interpersonal relationships, heal from traumatic experiences and overcome past and present wounds. As we work together, you will have the chance to be your authentic self and feel empowered while freely exploring your thoughts, feelings and behavioral patterns in a nonjudgmental environment. As everyone is unique and on their own personal journey, I will meet you where you are while using a variety of theories. In my work with individuals (16+), I employ a humanistic orientation, which means that I believe that everyone can take control of their life, create change, and establish a positive outlook, regardless of life’s hurdles. By the end of your therapeutic journey, you will have the chance to heal from past and present wounds, develop a positive perspective on your life, reduce any stress you may be experiencing, and increase your self-awareness.
Seeking therapy takes strength and courage, and each part of you is welcomed (even your most hurtful parts or avoidant parts). Although the process of seeking professional help may seem overwhelming and challenging at first, it is one of the most important steps on your journey to inner healing. You are welcomed to take the next step by contacting me to determine whether we are a good match!
