Life is often not what we imagined, hoped or expected. Whether we're impacted by difficulties, traumas, and losses or just can't quite get the hang of "adulting"- it can leave us feeling defeated, isolated or lost. I too have experienced the many let-downs and pains of life and through my own work am able to hold space alongside your process. I offer virtual therapy (video/phone) sessions to meet the scheduling needs of your busy life. I work from a person-centered approach, working with each client's individual needs at their own pace and style. I offer a relaxed and empathetic space, and whether you just need someone to listen, you need direction or questions, or maybe some challenges- I work to meet you where you are. Therapy is an intimate and vulnerable opportunity to move towards growth, healing and change. My goal is to help you gain insight, self-awareness, and the strength to engage fully in your life experience.

My areas of therapeutic support tend towards grief work and life transitions/identity development; while also offering support in areas of anxiety, depression, stress, and relational guidance. We may seek therapy with a specific goal or need; or we may just be looking for a place to process and be heard. And as so many aspects of our lives intermix, it likely is a blend of therapeutic goals and support. Emotional awareness and growth are the foundation on which we will build to support your healing and life journey.
Life is hard. Many of us were not raised with the tools we need to manage relationships, jobs, purpose, loss, pain, or just 'being alive'. This can cause us to feel isolated, lost, scared, lonely, angry, confused, and question if we're in the right place or doing life "right". We are inundated with viewing the lives of others and constant comparisons and this often increases our anxiety, depression, and negative self-stories. Have you ever thought, "why is life so easy for everyone else?" "Why do they have it figured out and know what to do and I don't?" In therapy we can learn to manage our perspectives, anxiety and begin developing our own "figuring it out." These same aspects can be applied to focus in grief work as well; as so often we become lost in our pain and have no idea how to navigate the pummeling waves of grief. Allow me to provide space to process and guidance and psychoeducation, as needed, to validate and normalize your human experience. My hope is for my clients to become empowered, self-aware, and can find their own strength within to write a life narrative that brings joy and hope for the future. You have what it takes to grow and heal and it is worth the work.
