Counselling can be a helpful next step if you're struggling with any aspect of your life or relationships and would like support to bring about healing or change. Welcome. I'm Vicky Mould. Thank you so much for coming to my profile. If you're seeking counselling for the first time, finding the right therapist is important. I hope the information you find here (and on my website) helps you make an informed decision about me as your therapist. I am an experienced bereavement counsellor and mental health therapist, and I have a specialist interest in working with people impacted by loss and grief - including baby loss, relationship issues - including the effects of domestic abuse, and mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, postnatal depression, PTSD, BPD, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. I am a down-to-earth, friendly-natured counsellor who can help you feel at ease. Practising person-centred therapy, I will work to help you feel part of a genuinely safe and supportive relationship. Sessions are confidential, and you will be valued, accepted, heard and understood. We can work at your pace to find your sense of coping, healing or wellbeing. Counselling with me can offer relief, insight, hope and increased confidence and trust in yourself. My goal in our counselling is to support and empower you to move forward with a healthier or more fulfilling life. If you'd like to explore counselling, you can contact me to ask any questions or arrange a 60-minute low-cost consultation.

Treatment Approach

  • Person-Centered
Approach Description: I have practised person-centred therapy since 2011, yet I have embraced the philosophy of this approach (in my personal life and relationships) for over twenty years. As I trust you're the expert on yourself, I don't offer advice or tell you what to do, yet I can support you in reaching your own answers and decisions and making life choices or changes you want to make. I can work creatively (in a person-centred way), such as facilitating the use of art mediums alongside talking therapy. Creative counselling can be helpful when working through trauma, to gain relief from the effects of mental health issues, when it's challenging to put thoughts and feelings into words or move forward from struggles or concerns despite talking them through. And you don't need experience or skills in art to engage in the process. We can discuss creative counselling in our initial sessions (if you feel that would be helpful). If you'd like to explore counselling together, you can contact me with any questions or to arrange an online or phone consultation.

Vicky Mould Practice Description
I'm the founder and owner of Azalea Counselling and have been counselling since 2011. I offer individual counselling to adults of all ages and from all walks of life and work comfortably on a long or short-term basis. As an Accredited Professional Registrant of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society, I adhere to their Code of Ethical Practice. I now practise exclusively online and over the phone. Rest assured, we don't need to be in the same room to establish a good therapeutic relationship or for you to achieve any goals you may have. I have extensive experience in bereavement counselling, domestic abuse counselling and mental health counselling (including people with complex mental health needs). I pride myself on my ability to establish good counselling relationships with a diverse mix of people and my offering of a high level of acceptance - I don't see a diagnosis, your struggles or experiences as defining the person you are or the potential you have within you. If you choose counselling with me, you will be genuinely valued and accepted as a whole person, and I will offer you a safe, trusting and supportive environment where you can bring about healing or change in your own life. I offer a 60-minute low-cost online or phone consultation to explore counselling and establish if we could work well together. If you'd like to book a consultation or ask questions before taking that step, please email me or call or text my practice mobile 07729 193629.
