Debbie Debonaire
Counselor/Therapist, BA Hons, IMTTA, Heartmath Coach
I create an empathic, safe, private, holistic, and client-centred environment online via Zoom, Whatsapp calls and videos, Teams calls and videos and Telephone. It is as close to being in an offline comfortable environment as possible. I adhere to the ethics and values of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I take individuals on their life journey so they can recognise the cause of their symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression, and together, we can find the strategies that work for them so that they can create the future life they want to live. One filled with happiness, peace, and love so they can reach their true potential. Each session is 60 minutes in duration unless embarking on one of my group sessions, where durations may vary. Each is 45 minutes with a 5-minute settling time at the beginning and a 10-minute wind-down time at the end, and will take you another step closer to what you want to achieve after our time together.
I recommend a minimum of 12 weeks paid in 6-week increments so that we are committed to our time together.

Owen Smith - Crystallise Psychotherapy & Counselling
Registered Psychotherapist, M.Soc.Sc.; BA (Hons); PostGrad Dip; H.Dip.
I use Zoom. After we have made contact and a session is booked, I will send you a link to a Zoom meeting. Zoom is accessible via an app (Apple, Android, Windows) or web browser. It can be accessed using a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop. Here’s a link to a brief video on joining a Zoom meeting:

To keep our counselling and therapy session private, I have the waiting room option enabled. Once we have started the meeting, I will lock it, so that no one else can join. On the vary rare occasions that we may lose our internet connection, it will be worth trying to reconnect. If that is not possible for any reason, we can decide via phone what you would prefer to do. Depending on how long is left in the session, we could try a new Zoom meeting room, postpone until another time, or use phones instead.

Fiona Grace
Counselor/Therapist, AdvDipCounselling &Pyschotherapy MBACP
Finding the right counsellor for you is one of the most important parts that will make therapy more effective and successful for you. Its not just about our qualifications but how we connect and work together.
I am a Neurodivergent counsellor and have found this out very late in life, I understand how it feels to just not fit in or be able to conform to the 'norms' of society, to struggle to work out why we are different. How to find ways to learn who you are and love all those 'quirks' that make us different. I understand how this feels and will work with you to help you find your way to manage what you are experiencing.
I have learnt experience with CNBC - childless not by choice and Chronic Pain & Fatigue conditions. With both of these I find it can really be beneficial that I have an understanding of how it feels and not just how it is to study these experiences.
As well as working with Adults I also work as a counsellor with young people in schools, colleges and my private practice.

Saffron Marriner
Counselor/Therapist, MBACP (Accred)
Some of the benefits of seeing a therapist online are that this will give you the opportunity to access support in a location and at a time that is convenient to you and you may be able to access therapy more quickly this way. As counsellors are trained to observe your body language, voice tone and other non verbal cues, including eye contact there may be the need for me to clarify certain points with you if we are working remotely ( particularly if this is over the telephone) We would use either zoom or whatsapp for our video calls. I will send you the hyperlink to download onto your device. There will also be a password to allow you access to a secure, encrypted online meeting room. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality while we are working together including ensuring that the hardware for your device, internet access points, email address and passwords are secure. I will call you at the time that we have agreed and encourage you to ensure that the space that you are in is a place where you feel safe, comfortable and your privacy is maintained. Some things for you to ask yourself prior to working with a therapist remotely might be how comfortable are you with using internet technology? Is there a device you can use in private with no interruptions? It is also worth considering whether the situation that you are seeking counselling for may be easier for you to discuss face to face?
