Anxiety is a part of all of our lives, often as a way to keep us safe. While it isn't inherently bad, it may feel overwhelming at times and social anxiety in particular can be challenging as it keeps us from creating the connections we wish to have. I support teens and adults of all ages navigate anxiety and overwhelm to begin to participate in interpersonal situations in new and different ways. Because anxiety expresses itself in our minds and bodies, I use a holistic approach that explores and integrates our cognitions, emotions and physical responses.
