So I am able to bring both a background in research into mind/brain issues, and I am trained as a clinician. I have been working with trauma for many years, and most recently (2016) I have been working with traumatic brain injury patients (including professional athletes). I am grateful for my dual background in mind/brain, because all brain injured patients require both perspectives. In August of 2023 I published "The Complex Architecture and Healing of Traumatic Brain Injuries: Listening to The Brain" with Cambridge Scholars Publishing in the UK. This is the story (based on case histories) of the journey to find a "healing road" for all persons who have had serious disruptions in brain functioning.
