Led by caring therapists who specialize in body image issues, our program offers a safe and affirming space where clients can explore their relationship with their bodies, challenge societal norms and beauty standards, and develop a healthier and more compassionate self-view.
Through a combination of individual therapy, group counseling, and experiential activities, participants learn to identify and challenge negative thought patterns, develop skills for self-compassion and mindfulness, and build resilience in the face of societal pressures and media influences.
In a supportive community of peers, individuals have the opportunity to share their experiences, gain perspective, and receive validation and support. Group therapy sessions foster connection and solidarity, promoting a sense of belonging and empowerment.

I want to help you have a better relationship with your body. My approach to working with people who struggle with body image involves helping you befriend your body. Instead of pinching and poking and criticizing your body’s shortcomings, I want to help you find deep gratitude for what it can do, love it in spite of the number on the scale (actually, maybe just throw away your scale), and believe that your worthiness runs deeper than your physical appearance. When I work with clients to improve their body image, I don’t spend very much time talking about food. Instead, sessions often focus on a sense of control, how to feel hard feelings, perfectionism and “good-enoughness”, self-compassion, how to self-soothe in hard moments, and allowing yourself to be a messy, human person. I am committed to helping you to improve your health – with the important caveat that mental health IS health. If the diet industrial complex has failed you, and you'd like support in finding a different way to make peace with your body, reach out to me. I look forward to meeting you soon!
