Stress management is a key focus of my practice. I use mindfulness, breathing techniques, and lifestyle adjustments to help clients manage stress and its effects on the mind and body. My goal is to equip you with the tools to handle life’s challenges with greater resilience and calm.
As a person who struggles with stress myself, I am an expert in noticing these thoughts as they begin to build, checking in with "why and what is going on", and then moving towards things that can reduce the stress. Together we can educate you on how your nervous system deals with stress and then develop new patterns of thought through practice and actions to keep your stress at a minimum.

I support stress utilizing many different types of techniques including increasing self care, decreasing negative self talk, CBT skills, and daily brain exercises.
Stress and anxiety can be the same but not always. Stress is usually a result of life circumstances and to manage it, there are many coping skills that can be used and implemented to improve stress and enjoy life more.
Stress is different from anxiety. We all know our society is extremely stressful. We've become a culture designed to measure individual accomplishment as defined by professional and financial success. Familial history and personality traits can contribute to the feeling of pressure, the definition of a "good" life, and our ability to manage stress and balance it with the calm and relaxation that we all actually require.
While I work with adults and couples, I specialize in treating children and teenagers. I treat children and teenagers who are dealing with depression, who are suicidal, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, cutting, bipolar to name a few issues. I also work with high conflict divorces.
Social anxiety, in my opinion, is a completely normal reaction to a world that has become increasingly hard to navigate, interpret and understand. The last few years have been devastating for people trying to function, not alone make sense of the world around them. I work with clients to reframe their experience into an affirming, compassionate narrative that helps them see the beauty in both themselves and their environment.
Stress means different things to different people. In our work, we will come to define what it is for you, so that we may attend to it in the singular fashion it deserves.
