Max Fisher (they/them)
Counselor/Therapist, LCSW
Everyone needs support at times. My own journey seeking mental health services as a teenager and young adult profoundly influenced my decision to become a therapist. I faced challenges in finding providers who were not only accessible but also genuinely understood and respected my identities, experiences, and values. This inspired me to pursue a career where I could assist others in navigating the mental health system in ways that are both affirming and empowering. My mission is to challenge and transform the system to make it more inclusive and accessible, particularly for those who may feel marginalized or overlooked.

I offer therapy to adults struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, stress, life changes, relationship issues, loss and grief. I provide a compassionate non judgmental therapeutic experience focused on healing and long-term change. Therapy begins with a trusting relationship between the client and therapist; you are not just another appointment on the schedule and I strive to connect with clients on a more personal level. The journey to healing, growth and self-acceptance begins with listening and understanding and you are not alone. We all want to be heard and understood and unexpected life changes can feel overwhelming and debilitating. I offer telehealth therapy in Michigan, Colorado, New Mexico, Florida and South Dakota.
